Weekly Newsletter 9/27/10

**NOTES TO PARENTS**

Our character trait for September is trustworthiness. The students will vote on who they think has been the most trustworthy during the month. This student will have lunch with the principal.

Our Flat Stanley project went out in the mail on Friday of last week. The students are very excited about it. We are interested to see where Flat Stanley will go.

Our first movie night of the year will be on Friday, October 1st. WE will be showing Toy Story 3.
I have a blog you can access through the La Paloma website www.lpatucson.org or missfite.blogspot.com. Every week I will post a copy of my current newsletter along with the spelling words for the week.

Please feel free to contact me through the school at 721-4205 or email misty_fite@yahoo.com
There will be a Grandparents Day on Wednesday, October 13th. I will give you more information when I receive it.

October 7th is our 40 day of school. It is very important that your child is at school and on time this day. It is one of our funding days. The state pays us based on who is in attendance and on time.
