NOTES TO PARENTS:
There will be NO homework this week including spelling.
If anyone can send in pencils it would be very much appreciated. The students are going through them fast.
There will be NO School April 1st through April 5th for Easter Break.
Wednesday, April 7th is our Dress Down for a $1.
Our class will be competing against the other 3rd grade classes and the 4th grade in an Olympics on April 28th. We will teach the students about how the government works. They will create money, a country name, and other interesting things about the country.
There will be a mother/son dance on April 23rd. There will be more information to come.

In Phonics, we will not have a phonics lesson this week.
In Math, we will be learning how to add money amounts to $99,999.99, writing checks for money amounts to $99,999.99, acting out, drawing pictures, and writing number sentences for division story problems, and writing number sentences for division story problems.
In writing and language arts, we will continue our unit on pronouns.
In Science, we will continue to learn about rocks and minerals.
In Social Studies, we will learn how a government works.
AIMS Testing starts April 12th and runs through April 16th. Please make sure your child is at school and on time this week.
